Bake Your Own Breakfast

Cinnamon Rolls (both kinds)

Step 1:  The cinnamon rolls will be frozen when purchased.  Leave the rolls out at room temperature until they are doubled in size.  From frozen, this will take about 4-6 hours depending on your home temperature.  If they are already thawed this will take about 1-2 hours.  Some home ovens even have a proof setting that you can use to speed up the process.

Step 2: Set your oven to 375 degrees.  Once your rolls have doubled in size, place in the oven to bake.  You can either bake them in the container they came in, or on a baking sheet.  Bake the rolls until dark golden brown, approximately 15-20 minutes.  Once the rolls are dark golden brown, remove from the oven.

Step 3: While the rolls are still hot, spread half of the cream cheese frosting over the tops of them.  This will melt the frosting into the rolls and give them a nice shine.  Once the rolls are cool, apply the rest of the cream cheese frosting.  Enjoy!

Biscuits (both types)

Step 1:  Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.

Step 2:  Remove biscuits from the freezer.  You can either leave the biscuits in the metal container they came in, or place them on a baking sheet.

Step 3: This is optional! I like to brush the biscuits with a little bit of milk, cream, or egg before they go in the oven.  This helps the browning and gives them a nice crunch on the outside.

Step 4: Place biscuits in the oven and cook for 10 minutes.  Rotate the tray and cook for another 10 minutes.  The biscuits should be golden brown and cooked through.  If you oven runs a bit hot, and the outside is cooked but the middle is still frozen, just turn down the temperature of your oven to 325 and cook for an additional 5 minutes.  Enjoy!

Sausage rolls

Step 1: Preheat oven to 400 degrees

Step 2:  Mix 1 egg and 1 teaspoon of water or milk to make an egg wash.  Using either a brush or the tip of your finger, coat the pastry with the egg wash.

Step 3:  Place the sausage rolls in the oven and cook until the puff pastry is dark golden brown and the sausage is cooked through, about 15 to 20 minutes.  Let cool and enjoy!

Chocolate Chip Cookies

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.  Space cookies roughly two inches apart on a sheet tray lined with parchment paper or baking pad.  Bake the cookies (from frozen) for 8 minutes, then pull the tray out and slap it on your counter to deflate the baking dough.  Bake for another 4 minutes, and again slap the cookies on the counter.  Bake a final two minutes, then let rest on the baking tray for at least 15 minutes and enjoy!  If you thaw the cookie dough, the baking will take slightly less time.  As an end result you are looking for golden brown edges with a slightly raw middle that will set and leave you with a crispy and chewy cookie.

Seasonal Berry Crisp

(Best cooked thawed)

Bake on convection at 350 degrees (or 375 without convection) for roughly 40 minutes or until the crisp topping is golden brown and the fruit is bubbling through the topping. Let cool at least 20 minutes.

Pro tip: add a scoop of vanilla ice-cream!

Garlic Bread

Set your oven or toaster oven to 400 degrees. Cook garlic bread until golden brown (about 4-5 minutes).  Enjoy as is or with a sprinkle of parmesan!

Frozen Pizza Slice

For optimal results, let your pizza slice thaw before baking.  Preheat your oven or toaster oven to 400 degrees.  Bake slice for 5 minutes or until toasty.  If baking from frozen, set your temperature to 350 and bake 15 minutes.  Enjoy!

Pizza Dough

Let pizza dough thaw on the countertop.  Take the dough out of the bag once thawed, form a ball, and rest on your counter (covered with the plastic bag) for 45 minutes to 1 hour.  Once the dough is room temperature and poofy, shape with lots of flour.  Youtube has great pizza shaping lessons as well!

If you are making a pan pizza - once the dough is thawed place on an oiled baking pan - either a cast iron or small sheet tray. As the dough warms up to room temperature, stretch it towards the edges of your pan. Once the dough is warmed up and stretching easily, stretch your final shape and let it rest for 10 minutes. You are then ready to bake!

Sauces

All of our sauces can be enjoyed with your favorite type of pasta.  They also work great on our pizza dough, especially the amatriciana sauce and tomato sauce.  When heating our sauces, add them to a pan with a quarter cup of water and bring to a boil.  Let the sauce simmer for about 5 minutes, or until a desirable consistency.  We always like finishing our sauces with butter and parmesan, but that is up to you.  Enjoy!
